Hello!
Here’s another episode of What I’m Reading Wednesday..but this time on Friday because life is hard. No really, it’s tax season and the real life job is so busy I feel like all I do is work and sleep. But I still wanted to chat about my current reads!
So, even though I’m posting a bit late this week, I am sneaking in some reading time here and there! This week for my physical book I’m doing a reread of The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco in preparation for sequel, The Heart Forger. I absolutely loved The Bone Witch my first read through and I’m enjoying it all over again. It’s the high fantasy that I crave. I can get completely lost in this world and it has the perfect mix of darkness to the story that I adore. If you haven’t read it yet, The Heart Forger will be released March 20th, so you have some time to catch up!
And for my ebook, I’m reading an ARC of The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton which also releases later this month! I’ve heard this one pitched as a retelling of King Lear Game of Thrones style, so I’m here for that. I’ve only just started this one, but I’m really enjoying it so far and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
That’s it for this week! Let me know what you’re reading in the comments below and if you’ve read either of these books, I’d love to hear your thoughts on those as well!
