Hello book lovers!
Tea Tuesday is a little thing I’ve been participating in on my Instagram page for a few months now and I thought it would be fun to continue the party here on the blog! If you couldn’t guess, Tea Tuesday is where I’ll be sharing with you some of my very favorite teas! I drink lots of tea and I have a huge collection that rivals my collection of books, which is saying something. So why not talk some more about it! Not to mention, tea and books go perfectly together.
If you’ve been following along on my Instagram page, you know Adagio Teas is one of my favorite places to buy loose leaf teas. They have such a wide variety of teas to choose from AND you can create your own blends. Add that to the fact that they ship out really quickly and have fantastic customer service and you just can’t go wrong. So admittedly, a lot of my Tea Tuesday posts will likely include Adagio blends, but at least you’ll know it’s because I truly love them!
This week I want to talk about one of the new spring blends, Lemon Meringue Green Tea. I’ve only just begun to explore green teas. I’ve always been a fan of black tea and thought green tea had too much of a grassy flavor. But it turns out I was just drinking the wrong teas (and likely preparing it incorrectly). I found my love for green tea when Adagio released their fall teas that included a flavor called Autumn Mist Green. I ordered a sample size because of the title alone and it did not disappoint. I ended up ordering a giant 16oz bag and it remains one of my very favorite teas!
Now that it’s spring (or at least it’s trying to be..looking at you midwest weather!), I thought it would be fun to try a lighter, more spring-like green tea. Adagio’s Lemon Meringue Green is so delicious! It truly is a perfect spring tea. It’s creamy and light with just the perfect amount of lemon. Too many times citrus flavors can feel overpowering, but the lemon in this tea is perfection. The creamy flavor smoothes everything out to make this a go-to after dinner treat!
What are some of your favorite springy teas?
I love tea 🙂 🙂 🙂
