Book Mail: July 27, 2020

Happy Monday!

If you read my Life Update from yesterday, you know I’m planning on focussing more on my blog rather than my Instagram. Usually, I would open my book mail all at once on Sundays on my Instagram stories. However this week, I decided to photograph my book mail instead and share it here!

Here is the stack! The three books on top are ones that I bought through Amazon and came with other household things that I promise aren’t exciting.

First up is a package from Blackstone Publishing & GetRed PR. Etiquette for Runaways by Liza Nash Taylor is an historical fiction book that will release August 18, 2020. I have a post planned closer to release date, so keep an eye out for that!

Next, is a package from Books Forward and Spark Press. Gatekeeper by Alison Levy is the first book in a new urban fantasy series. It sounds super interesting! This book releases October 6, 2020 so get your preorders in!

My next package is a book I ordered! The second I heard about this book I knew I had to read it. First of all, look at that cover!!
Sisters of Sword and Song by Rebecca Ross is a standalone YA fantasy book. And let me tell you, if the cover didn’t hook me, the word STANDALONE would have! As much as I love a good series, sometimes a standalone is just so refreshing!

This package comes to me from Gallery Books. The paperback edition of Man of the Year by Caroline Louise Walker comes out August 4, 2020. I read this book last year and if you’re a fan of thrillers, you’ll definitely want to pick this one up!

This package came to me from Atria Books. Behind the Red Door by Megan Collins is a thriller, which if you haven’t noticed is definitely the genre I lean toward the most. This one comes out August 4, 2020 and I cannot wait to read it!

My final package was a big one! I got a message a few weeks ago from Jennifer Weiner’s literary agent asking if I would like to read her latest book and receive a summer reading care package. How could I say no to that?? Especially considering how much I’ve loved Jennifer Weiner’s books over the years! Check out all the goodies they sent…

A hardcover copy of Big Summer.

And here is the entire Big Summer package in all its glory. This was such a wonderful surprise! I adored Big Summer just as much as all of Jennifer Weiner’s other books, so if you haven’t read it yet, I definitely recommend adding it to your TBR!

Here’s a final shot of my book haul this week. I couldn’t be more grateful for all of these wonderful books and everyone who sent them to me. Have you read any of these books? Which of them will you be adding to your TBR?
